Need to delete your history or clear your cache in Firefox 4? No need to worry, I have written a guide that will hep you do one or the other of these. Here is the step by step guide on how to do this.

CLEARING YOUR CACHE

If that’s not what you are going for and you want to go back further with your clearing this is how to do that:

  • At the top left of your browser there is a button that says “Firefox.”

  • Click that button to get a drop down, then click “option” on the right that will open the window below.

  • Now, Click “advanced” then the “network” tab
  • Simply click “clear now” and that’ about it, now click “OK” to close the window.

DELETING YOUR BROWSING HISTORY

First off there is a shortcut in Firefox to clear your recent history and that is: CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE

Deleting your browsing history isn’t much more difficult than clearing your cache:

  • Again you will need to click on the “Firefox” button on the top left of your browser.
  • In this drop down menu you will see an option called “history” hover over that to activate another drop down like the one in the image below.

  • Click on “clear recent history” to open a window that gives you the option on how far back you can clear your history.

  • Select how much of your history you would like to clear and that is all it takes.
