This tutorial guide will help you Jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 Using Redsn0w 0.9.6. The jailbreak guide is applicable to iPhone, iPads and iPod Touch.

Apple has newely released firmware versions:

  • iOS 4.2.8 for Verizon iPhone 4
  • iOS 4.3.3 for iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, iPad and, iPod touch

In this version your are still able to exploit the untethered jailbreak from previous versions 4.3.1 and 4.3.2 Apple has not fixed this yet.

4.3.3 is still vulnerable to this exploit according to Comex, an iPhone hacker.

The Dev team is still hard at work to bring us a jailbreak RedsnOw jailbreaking tool for untethered Jailbreaking

4.)RedsnOw will automatically determine which IPSW 4.3.3 file it needs. When it is complete it will display “IPSW successfully identified”

5.)In the next prompt make sure to select “Install Cydia”

6.) It is imperative that your iDevice is powered down. Make sure it is connected to your computer BEFORE you select “next”

7.) You will be prompted by RedsnOw on how to run your device in “DFU” mode, please follow the instructions explicitly

8.)When powering your device back on, depress the “power” and “home” buttons simultaneously. Let go of the “power” button while still holding “home” until installation initializes
